MP: Child started vomiting after eating samosa, turned out to be a lizard

Reva. In Rewa city of Madhya Pradesh, the health of a 5 year old child deteriorated after eating samosa. There was a dead lizard in this samosa, after eating which he started vomiting and started having stomach pain. The matter is of last Thursday night of 7th November. The family admitted him to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

According to the doctor, the child is still fine. He has been kept in ICU as a precaution. The family had complained to the police only last Thursday. After which the police team reached the hospital. Here the family members of the children handed over photos and videos to the police. On Friday, the Food Department reached the hotel and investigated. After this his license was suspended.

Lizard’s head and eyes found in samosas

5 year old Shreyans Sharma bought samosa from a hotel. After eating half the samosa, he felt some strange taste. Then when the child paid attention, he saw the head and eyes of a lizard. After this he started having problems. Then the child and his family came to know about it.

The family gave evidence

The child’s family member Surendra Sharma told that when the child felt hungry, my nephew gave him samosa and jalebi from Suresh Kushwaha’s hotel and after eating half of it, his health deteriorated. After this we took video-photos as proof.

vomiting is beneficial

CMO Dr. Yatnesh Tripathi said that the child’s continuous vomiting after eating lizard samosa was beneficial. He was not allowed to sleep at night so that he kept vomiting. The child has been kept under observation in the ICU ward, currently his condition is stable, it is hoped that he will recover soon.

Hotel license suspended

Food Department official Amrish Dubey said that after the complaint of finding lizard in samosas, we inspected the hotel. No cleanliness was found at the spot. At present, the hotel has been closed by suspending its license, action is being taken.
