Flood -like conditions have been created in many states due to continuous rains for the last one week. Many deadly incidents of land slides have come to light in Uttarakhand and Himachal. Rivers are in spate in Uttarakhand due to heavy rains for the last one week. So even today, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many states of the country. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Uttarakhand, Himachal as well as Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan. There is a possibility of rain for the next 6 days in Maharashtra, Gujarat. There is still rain alert for Odisha and Jharkhand, so the rain continues in Delhi NCR today.
Chardham Yatra postponed, river drain in spate
Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand has been stopped for the next 24 hours due to heavy rains and bad weather. Salal Dam gate has been opened in Reasi after the water level of Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir has been opened due to heavy rains. If heavy rains continue in Himachal Pradesh, there is a period of torrential rain in Delhi NCR. The river drains are in spate due to rain from Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand to Kerala.
Monsoon hit on the mountains
Due to continuous rocks on the mountains, the government first adjourned the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand for 24 hours, while there was a huge landslide on the route of Adi Kailash from Dharchula in Pithoragarh district, due to which the Kailash Yatra route is also closed. The alert has been issued after the water level of the Ganges river rises up to Haridwar and Rishikesh. Today, SDRF will mockdrail in the low -lying areas along the Ganges. If the monsoon is hit on the mountains, then the plains are also raining heavy rains everywhere. There is a possibility of heavy rains and thunderstorms in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan today.
