MP: Woman jumped into the raging Narmada river, husband also jumped to save her, both missing..!

Palpal correspondent, Mandla. There was a stir today in Swami Sitaram Ward area in Mandla, MP. When a woman Varsha Marawi jumped into the swollen Narmada river. Seeing Varsha jumping into the water, husband Jawahar jumped to save her. Due to the strong current, both of them got lost amidst the waves. As soon as the news was received, the SDERF team reached the spot and started searching for the missing couple.

According to police officials, Jawahar father Buddhu Maravi, resident of Dindori, had come to Mandla with his wife Varsha. While wandering here, both of them reached Balmik Ghat of Narmada River. During the conversation, Varsha woke up and jumped into the raging Narmada river. Seeing his wife Varsha jumping, Jawahar jumped to save her. Seeing both of them in the Narmada river, there was an outcry. As soon as the news was received, the police and SDERF team reached. But by that time both were lost among the waves. After the incident that took place in the afternoon, the SDERF team continued searching with the help of motor vehicle but the couple could not be found anywhere. Till evening, the couple was not found anywhere.
