Famous actress of Bollywood and South films Isha Koppikar has recently made a shocking disclosure remembering an old experience. In a conversation with Hindi Rush, he told that during the shooting of his film ‘Chandralekha’ in 1998, he had to slap 14 slaps from superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. However, the slap was not on demand for a scene, not due to any personal dispute. He talked about this and has shared the whole matter in detail with the audience. It also told what kind of circumstances were there in that era.

Isha Koppikar said that this was the second film of her career and she considered herself a dedicated actress. She wanted her emotions and reactions to look completely real on the screen. For this reason, he himself told Nagarjuna that he should be slapped real for the scene. When Nagarjuna asked him if he was really ready for this, Isha said, “Yes, I want real feel.” The actress further said, ‘I could not feel the slap. Nagarjuna slapped with love but the director said that I have to show the effect of the slap on the camera. I had another problem that I can get angry in real life, but could not get angry in front of the camera. In this affair, I slapped 14 and also got marks on the face.

Actor apologizes to Isha
Isha further told that after completion of the scene, Nagarjuna was very upset and he repeatedly apologized to her. Isha explained to him that this was his own decision and there is no need to apologize to Nagarjuna. The film ‘Chandralekha’ featured Nagarjuna, Isha Koppikar and Ramya Krishna in the lead roles.
