Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Congress State President D.K. Shivkumar shocked everyone in the state assembly. DK Shivkumar sang a few lines of prayer to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) during a discussion on the stampede near the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Hearing these lines from the mouth of the Congress leader, all the leaders inside the assembly were shocked.
BJP MLAs were making allegations
11 people died in this stampede that took place during the program organized after the RCB victory in the IPL. Shivkumar was seen singing a few lines of ‘Namaste Sada Vatsale Matrubhumay’ at the time when the BJP MLAs were accusing him of ‘provoking’ during a stampede ‘.

The legislators alleged that Shivkumar had gone to take the players at the Bangalore airport on the arrival of the RCB team. He continued to wave the Kannada flag during the entire journey from the airport to the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Responding to these allegations, Shivkumar said, ‘I am a member of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). People of the institution including KSCA Secretary are my friends. I am the minister in charge of Bengaluru. I (on June 4) went to the airport and stadium. I also held the flag of Karnataka, wished him (to RCB) and kissed the cup as well. I did my work. ‘

He further said, ‘The accident occurred. Such incidents have also happened in other states. When needed, I will also read the list of incidents which have happened in other places. I also have a lot to say about you. ‘
Leaders of opposition patted tables
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar also said that he grew up with the Home Minister Ji God. At this, the Leader of the Opposition, R Ashok of the BJP reminded Shivkumar that he once said that he wore ‘RSS tights’. Meanwhile, Shivkumar smiled and started singing ‘Namaste Sada Vatsale Matrubume’. The opposition patted the tables on this, but there was silence in the Congress camp.
These lines will not be removed from the record of the House, BJP took a pinch
BJP MLA V. Sunil Kumar took a pinch and said, “Hope these lines (House) will not be removed from the record.” Shivkumar said, “You should be proud that this government (after the stampede) immediately took action and initiated action against police officers and Royal Challengers Bangalore.” (With language input)
