Meerut South And 3 new Namo Bharat Station built between Modipuram will be ready for services by the end of this month. This new station will be a major step towards the start of the entire corridor of 82 km long Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Rail (RRTS). These three stations are Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul and Modipuram. An official of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) said that initially the station Namo Bharat will serve as a parking lot for the station Namo Bharat trains, until the work of expanding the line beyond the Sarai Kale Khan begins.

Namo India and Meerut Metro trains will run on the same infra

The official said that the construction work of the last station in Modipuram located on the National Highway has been completed.

Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan Station will work as a multi-model transport center

“A footover bridge has also been built on the National Highway to ensure safe movement of pedestrians on the National Highway.” The work of the early station at Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi is also nearing completion. It will act as a major multi-model transport center connecting Sarai Kale Kale Hazrat Nizamuddin Metro Station, Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, Veer Hakikat Rai ISBT and Ring Road, located on the pink line of Delhi Metro.
