National capital region transport corporation (As per the latest fare amendment announced by (NCRTC), passengers traveling in Namo Bharat trains can now enjoy premium facilities by paying only 20 percent more than standard fare. NCRTC said the fare of the premium coach has been reduced by 1.2 times against the standard coach. This means that standard tickets priced at Rs 100 can be upgraded to a premium coach for only Rs 20 more. The revised fare offers a more comfortable and low congested travel option along with accessing the premium lounge at select stations. Let us tell you that NCRTC has cut fare to increase the number of passengers in the premium class.
How much will the fare from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South
The NCRTC said that the premium coach will cost Rs 180 for the journey between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South, while the standard coach will have to buy tickets of Rs 150. Now the journey from Ghaziabad to Anand Vihar in the premium coach will be for just Rs 50, while its standard fare is 40 rupees. NCRTC said that the fare on the rest of the routes will be reduced in the same way. According to NCRTC, passengers have expressed happiness over this deduction made in the rent and they are now traveling in a large number of premium classes.
Loyalty point program started for passengers
NCRTC has also launched a loyalty point program to further encourage passengers. Under this scheme, passengers earn points every time on booking QR tickets through Namo Bharat app or using the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). The corporation said that each point is 10 paise and once 300 points are deposited, they can be redeemed for free travel. Namo India currently covers a distance of 55 km from New Ashok Nagar in Delhi to Meerut South in UP, which has 11 stations. Trial runs are going on on other sections of the corridor, including Sarai Kale Khan and New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South to Modipuram.
