NDA Chief Minister Council meeting held in Chandigarh

Haryana. Before the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand and just after the Haryana-Jammu-Kashmir elections, the meeting of the Council of Chief Ministers of the National Democratic Alliance was held in Chandigarh today. The Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of the BJP-led NDA spoke about the issues of development, the nectar of the Constitution and the 50th anniversary of the attempt to murder democracy, which is a reference to the Emergency imposed in 1975.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and JP Nadda who is also the BJP President. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, two Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Goa CM Pramod Sawant attended the meeting. The conference started after the swearing-in ceremony of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini. Saini has taken charge of Haryana for the second time. BJP said in a statement that it has 13 Chief Ministers and 16 Deputy Chief Ministers. The Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Nagaland and Meghalaya belong to its allies. This is the first such conference of Chief Ministers of NDA ruled states in the last few years. BJP and its allies are preparing to face the opposition alliance in the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand next month. Apart from Saini, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended the conference. Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Manjhi, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang and Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha also participated. Attended the conference. According to the statement, there will be a fixed agenda for discussion in this meeting which will include issues of national development. In this, topics like celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of the Constitution and the 50th anniversary of the attempt to murder democracy will also be discussed. The statement said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu and Nagaland Chief Minister Rio will initiate the discussion.
