Bahujan Samaj Party got 13,211 votes here. However, Suresh Modi won the election by a margin of 12,615 (7.1%) votes. In the then elections, the total number of voters in Neem Ka Thana seat was 2,39,251 in which the number of male voters was 1,27,659 and the number of female voters was 1,11,592. Of these, a total of 1,77,718 (74.6%) voters had cast their votes. Only 861 (0.4%) votes were cast in favor of NOTA.
