India’s two -time Olympic medalist javelin throw athlete Neeraj Chopra made a great start by winning his session by winning a pot invitational track competition in Potchefstroom in South Africa. Only two players Chopra and Smt crossed the distance of 80 meters in the competition. Another South African player Duncan Robertson finished third with an attempt of 71.22 meters. Chopra is practicing in Potchefstroom under the supervision of his new coach Czech Republic’s John Zelzni. Zelzhney is a three -time Olympic champion and world record holder.
This 27 -year -old India player was separated from German Claus Bartonitz, who was a long -time coach for a long time. Chopra will start his campaign in Elite competitions in Doha Diamond League on 16 May.
