Neeraj gave Nadeem to come to India in a tournament being held in his name
The Paris Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan has been invited to participate in the Neeraj Chopra classic javelin throw competition.
Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra confirmed that Nadeem was invited to the competition at a press conference on Monday, saying, “We have also invited the Paris Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan, but it has not been confirmed yet.”

The competition to be held in Bangalore has confirmed the involvement of many top javelin throw athletes from Granada, Anderson Peters, former world champion of Kenya and American champion Curtis Thompson.
Neeraj said, “We are thrilled to welcome some of the best spear throw athletes around the world. Anderson Peters, Julius Yigo and Curtis Thompson’s presence will definitely increase the competition level and inspire young Indian spear throw players.”
