Tirunelveli. Police have registered a case against Jalal Ahmed, owner and instructor of Jalal NEET Academy, for brutally attacking students. CCTV footage viral on social media shows Ahmed beating boys with a stick and throwing shoes at girl students for allegedly sleeping during morning classes because one student had left her shoes at an unknown place.
The incidents, which took place last month, came to light after complaints from a staff member and several students. Police Commissioner Rupesh Kumar Meena confirmed the case against Ahmed, whose academy currently has around 100 students enrolled from different parts of the city.
