New Honda Amaze to be launched on December 4, 2024, will include new design, updated interior, advanced features
Honda Cars India is all set to launch the new generation Amaze in the Indian market on December 4, 2024. The current generation Amaze got a facelift in 2021. Ahead of the launch, the carmaker has released a teaser of the next-generation Honda Amaze, highlighting the front design.
exterior update
According to the teaser, the front of the new Amaze will be redesigned, with a sharp nose and grille similar to the new Accord sold abroad. The headlights are now sleeker, with LED daytime running lights placed above the main lights. The bumper also looks more aggressive than before.
The teaser does not reveal the side and rear profiles of the upcoming sedan. However, we expect redesigned alloy wheels and updated LED tail lamps. We also expect the updated compact sedan to get an updated rear bumper. There is also a possibility that some new color options will be introduced.

The interiors of the new generation Amaze will get a redesigned dashboard while maintaining the dual tone color scheme. Talking about the features, it has a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, sunroof, semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, auto-dimming rearview mirror, auto climate control, cruise control, electric ORVMs and keyless entry. -Less entry facility will be available.
Safety Features
The new Amaze will be safer than before. It is expected to be provided with safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, rear parking camera with sensors, electronic stability control and ISOFIX child seat mount.
engine
Although not officially confirmed, the new Amaze will likely continue with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. This powertrain produces 90 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. It will get 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox
price
The new Amaze is likely to be priced slightly higher than the existing model, which currently ranges from Rs 7.20 lakh to Rs 9.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In India, it will compete with Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor and Maruti Dezire.
