New toll rates of Bengaluru -Chennai Expressway released, know how much money will be paid for the car
Bengaluru-Chennai Vehicle drivers using the Karnataka section of the expressway will have to pay toll soon. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has finalized toll rates for a 71 -km long section between Hedigenabelle (near Hoskote) and Sunderpalya (near KGF), which has been informally open for more than 7 months. Till now, the drivers did not have to pay toll on this route, but now the toll will start soon. According to the report of Hindustan Times, toll collection will begin after all systems start.
How much will you have to pay?
According to the report, ₹ 185 toll will have to be given for a single trip from Hedigenabelle to Sundar Palya, while ₹ 275 will have to be repaid with a return. In the opposite direction, ₹ 190 will have to be given for a single trip. The monthly pass price for 50 trips will be ₹ 6,105 from one side and ₹ 6,260 in the opposite direction.
The toll rates vary according to the direction of the vehicle and the travel. A fee of ₹ 295 will be charged for a unilateral journey from light commercial vehicles (LCVs), light cargo vehicles (LGVs) and mini buses to Sundigenabelle and ₹ 445 for commuting. From Sundar Pariya to Hedigenabelle, the rates are slightly higher than ₹ 305 and ₹ 455 respectively. Hadiganabelle will be charged ₹ 620 for a unilateral journey from heavy vehicles like trucks and buses and ₹ 930 for movement. Upon arrival from Sundar Pari, the rates increase to ₹ 635 and ₹ 955.
Where will the toll be recovered?
There will be four toll plazas in Hedigenabelle, Aghara, Krishnarajpura and Sundar Palya. On this, toll will be charged from the drivers. This expressway, designed for up to 120 km per hour, has a strict ban on two -wheelers. But due to incomplete fencing, many bike riders secretly enter, causing security concerns. NHAI is now seeking permission to deploy home guards at prominent places and toll plazas to prevent such violations until the entire boundary wall is formed.
