Cyber fraud

A similar case has come out from Jharkhand, where 10 thousand rupees were removed from the account of an elderly woman.
According to the report, in the name of getting the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana in Garhwa district of Jharkhand, thugs scanned the eyes of the woman and took out about 10,000 rupees from the account. When the woman arrived to withdraw money from her bank account the next day, it was found that money had been withdrawn from her account.
How did the fraud?
Nowadays all bank accounts are linked to your Aadhaar card. With the Aadhaar card link, anyone can withdraw money from their account through biometric (fingerprint or iris) scan. However, it has a limit set by banks. Thugs along with the woman frauded in the name of Kisan Yojana. Detected the bank account from his Aadhaar number and then scanned her eyes without going to the woman and took out the money from the account.
How to avoid
Your vigilance is very important to avoid any fraud. You do not give your personal documents especially to the Aadhaar card. If there is a need to give Aadhaar card, then you should use virtual Aadhaar number. For this, you have to go to the website of UIDAI and issue virtual Aadhaar number. Also, you can lock the biometric of your card. However, in such a situation, when you need, biometric will have to unlock. After this, you have to lock again again.
Also, you do not have to get into any greed. Cyber criminals do social engineering with people and execute them. People are given a deception in the name of prize, gift, government scheme etc. and then they are cheated.
