The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday arrested Khalistani terrorist Kashmir Singh Galwaddi. He was associated with foreign Babbar Khalsa terrorist Harvinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda. He was one of the notorious criminals who escaped from Nabha jail in 2016. Let me tell you that this success was achieved when the NIA along with Motihari police arrested Ludhiana, Kashmir Singh Galwaddi of Punjab, in the case of Khalistani terror conspiracy from Motihari Bihar. The NIA said that Kashmir was actively associated with Khalistani militants, including Kashmir Singh Rinda since Nabha escaped from jail.

The statement issued by the investigating agency stated that an important node of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Rinda terror gang in Nepal, Kashmir was a criminal related to the role of joining the conspiracy in the NIA case, shelter, logistics assistance and terrorist funds to allies of Khalistani terrorists. The NIA said that these colleagues fled to Nepal after carrying out various terrorist activities in India, including the RPG (rocket propelled grenade) attack at the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters. The NIA said that in August 2022, the case of terrorist conspiracy was automatically taken cognizance to investigate terrorist activities of heads/members of banned terrorist organizations such as BKI, Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) and International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF).

NIA revealed

The NIA said that the investigation revealed the terrorism-crocodile alliance, which has been revealed that these terrorist groups along with organized criminal gangs were engaged in trafficking of terrorist hardware like arms, ammunition, explosives, IEDs etc. to carry out terrorist activities in different parts of the country. The NIA-based special court had declared Kashmir Singh as a fugitive in the 2022 terror conspiracy case and also issued non-bailable arrest warrants against him in the last few years. The NIA had also announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh to the person who helped in his arrest. In July 2023, the NIA filed a charge sheet against nine accused including Sandhu and another Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh alias Landa in the terrorist case, after which two supplementary chargesheets were filed against six others.
