Raipur, 19 October (HS). National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided Palanar village located in Gangalur police station area of Bijapur. The NIA team has seized several mobile phones, SIM cards and incriminating documents during the extensive search. With the help of Bijapur Police, the NIA team reached Palnar at 4 am today.
The statement issued by the NIA said that this search was conducted in the case related to the arrest of a person named Dinesh Tati from Palnar. It may be noted that Tati, who was helping the Maoists, was arrested by the Bijapur Police in June 2023. The statement said that the police had seized Rs 10 lakh in cash and other items from the accused.
Bijapur Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Yadav informed about the action on Saturday that NIA team had come to Palnar on a case. We helped them in searching but we do not have much information in this matter.
