The National Investigation Agency has attached immovable property of a key terror accused involved in the killing of two non-locals in Kashmir this year, according to an official statement issued on Thursday.
It said that the accused Adil Manzoor Langu is associated with ‘The Resistance Front (TRF), a branch of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
This attachment is part of the investigation into the case related to a conspiracy hatched by Langu along with two others, identified as Ahran Rasool Dar and Dawood.
“The conspiracy, led by their TRF/LeT handlers based in Pakistan, was aimed at killing innocent people with the aim of spreading terror and inciting violence in India,” the statement said.
It said the investigation following the murder of two non-locals on February 7 led to the arrest of Langu, Dar and Dawood, while Pakistan-based mastermind Jahangir is still at large.

As part of its efforts to dismantle the Kashmir terror network, the NIA on Wednesday attached immovable property of a key terror accused linked to The Resistance Front (TRF), the Lashkar-e-Taiba wing, the statement said.
TRF, which emerged as a proxy organization of LeT in 2019, has also been designated as a terrorist organisation.
It has been responsible for several attacks and killings of non-local civilians, including religious minorities, in Kashmir.
