NHAI, Nitin Gadkari knows what will be considered in Noida?
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will consider building another expressway in Noida. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Tuesday that Noida Authority and Gautam Budh Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma will consider the proposal that proposes to build an alternative road above the Yamuna embankment from Kalindi Kunj to Pari Chowk in Delhi to Pari Chowk. If this happens, the people of the city are going to get great relief and convenience in movement.
Gadkari said- there is no shortage of money
According to the news of Hindustan Times, during an event, Gadkari said that we are currently working on projects worth ₹ 1.2 lakh crore in Delhi-NCR. We have already completed ₹ 60,000 crore work and today Mahesh ji has shared his suggestions, which we will consider. We have no shortage of money. He said that passengers coming from Delhi can already reach the new road directly without using crowded Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Expressway will be built along the banks of Yamuna
This expressway handles about 5 lakh vehicles every day. Of these, about two lakh vehicles enter DND and other places to enter the scream border, Kalindi Kunj and Sector 15, 16, 18 and 37. According to the news, this new road will be 30 kilometers, which will go along the banks of Yamuna. An initiative will be taken to construct new expressways to reduce traffic congestion on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway. This new expressway will be a six-lane elevated road, which will run along the banks of the Yamuna river.
However, NHAI’s official approval is yet to be launched to start the project. MP Mahesh Sharma said that with the construction of this expressway, people coming from bypass to Delhi will get the facility to reach the airport from Yamuna Express without entering the Noida Expressway. The movement of trains on the existing Noida Expressway has increased. Everyday more than one lakh vehicles run on it, due to which a situation of jam is created here.
