• Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today located in Bihta State disaster redemption force (sdrf) Visited the new headquarters of the campus and inspected the construction works going on there. During this, he reviewed the facilities available while inspecting the first and third floors of the administrative building under construction. The Chief Minister also conducted physical information from the under-construction and newly constructed buildings of the SDRF campus, as well as the surrounding area and received detailed information from the officials present.
  • Creation of modern facilities in the campus
  • Kumar Ravi, Secretary, Building Construction Department, informed the Chief Minister about the entire model of the SDRF headquarters campus. He informed that special facilities like an administrative building, auditorium, training center, quarter master store, and national level swimming pool are being made in this state -of -the -art campus of SDRF. The purpose of these features is to make SDRF’s disaster management capabilities even more efficient. In addition, residential complex for soldiers and officers, barracks, housing for doctors, and sports facilities are also included.
  • Chief Minister gave instructions to complete the work fast
  • During the review of the construction works, the Chief Minister asked the officials to complete the remaining construction works of SDRF headquarters fast so that it can start using it as soon as possible. He especially emphasized the ease of traffic, energy efficiency of buildings, and the use of solar energy. The Chief Minister said, “We are working on the decision to install solar panels in all government buildings, the SDRF campus should make an ideal example of this scheme.”
  • Bihta-Danapur elevated road project was also inspected
  • Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also came to inspect the Bihata-Danapur elevated road under construction after leaving SDRF headquarters. This elevated road is an important part of the Patna-Buxar forelane project, which is 25.081 km in total length. This road will start from Danapur railway station and reach Koilwar Bridge, which will give better connectivity to the capital Patna and Bihta Airport.

  • This elevated path will not only facilitate the journey between Bihta and Danapur, but will also widely improve the connectivity of Patna city. Its construction will reduce the problem of traffic jams drastically and the passengers will save both time and fuel. This road will be directly added to Bihta Airport, which is expected to bring a major change in the utility of the airport and passenger traffic.

  • Senior administrative officers of the state were present on the occasion, including Development Commissioner Pratyas Amrit, Chief Minister’s Secretary Kumar Ravi, Secretary of Road Construction Department Sandeep Pudukalkatti, Bihar State Road Development Corporation Managing Director Head Kapil Ashok, Patna Division Commissioner Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan SM, Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya. Kumar, and SDRF Commandant Rajesh Kumar were prominently involved.
