Today, there is a possibility of light to moderate rains. The rain will drop the temperature and the weather will be pleasant. The maximum temperature of the day is expected to be around 26 ° C, while the minimum temperature can go up to 23 ° C.

Floods in the low -lying areas of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have taken a formidable form. Crops have suffered heavy damage due to flooding of the fields, which has increased the concerns of farmers. Today, torrential rains are estimated in Uttar Pradesh. Rain alert has been issued in 65 districts including Lucknow. At the same time, alert of heavy rain has been issued in many districts of Bihar, while flood situation remains in some places.
Threat of landslide in hilly areas
Heavy rains have caused havoc in hilly states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Several roads have been closed due to landslides and rock falling incidents, which has disrupted traffic. The administration has advised people to avoid unnecessary travel and request tourists to postpone the journey to the hilly areas.
