First step- First peel the gourd and grate it. If the white part of the gourd is very seeded, do not use it. Now put the entire gourd in a bowl and add finely chopped onion, green chillies and salt to it.
Second step- Gourd and onion will start releasing water as soon as they add salt. Now leave gourd and onion for 5 minutes. Now add about 2 boiled potatoes to the mixer jar. Add 1 cup of rice, which you soak in water 1 hour in advance. Now you have to pour water to prepare the batter.
Third step- For this, squeeze the gourd and onion tightly. Put the water that comes out in it. Now add about 1 cup of water and slowly stirring the batter. Grind well in the grinder and the batter should be smooth.
Fourth step- To add tempering to the batter, add 2 spoon oil to the pan. Add asafetida, whole red chili, mustard, cumin and curry leaves to it. Put this tempering in the prepared batter. Now spread the grated gourd and put it. Add salt, a little curd, green coriander and roasted white sesame as per taste.
Fifth step- Mix the batter well. Now add half a teaspoon of baking powder or eno. Now heat the pan and greene it lightly and add 1 tablespoon in the middle and add the batter. You do not have to spread it, it will heat up and spread it in cheela -like shape.
Sixth step- Allow the gourd cheela from one side on the medium flame and then turn it out comfortably. Due to the gourd and potato, it is very soft and it can break in turning, so turn carefully. Now also put oil and bake it lightly.
