Siddaramaiah is in Delhi

Let me tell you that Siddaramaiah is currently in Delhi and his Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are likely to meet. After the results of the assembly elections in May 2023, there was a strict competition between Siddaramaiah and Shivkumar over the post of Chief Minister. The Congress somehow persuaded Shivkumar to become deputy CM.

Agreement to become CM in turn

At that time there were reports that an agreement has been agreed to become “Chief Minister” in turn, under which Shivkumar will be made the Chief Minister in November 2025 after two and a half years. However, the party has not yet been officially confirmed by the party. (With language inputs)
