Now DOGE’s access to social security systems of Americans, court decides
Donald Trump, US President.
Washington: The Supreme Court of the US on Friday allowed the Department of Government Efficiency of the Administration led by President Donald Trump to access the Social Security Administration (SSA) with sensitive personal information of millions of Americans. This data also includes school records, salary details and medical information.
The court stayed the order of a Judge from Maryland that banned DOGE’s SSA records under federal secrecy laws. The Supreme Court said, “We have come to the conclusion that the DOGE team should have access to SSA records in the current circumstances so that they can fulfill their responsibilities.” Let me tell you that billionaire businessman Alan Musk, who was very close to Trump, was still the head of DOGE. But he is now withdrawn from this post. Since then, a quarrel has started between Trump and Musk.
Ban on transparency
The Supreme Court also imposed a temporary stay on other court orders that forced DOGE to disclose tasks for transparency. The Trump administration says that access to this data is necessary in the federal government to prevent wastage and increase efficiency.
Alan Musk and Trump tussle
Significantly, billionaire businessman Alan Musk was once the head of DOGE, but recently he resigned. After this, there are reports of differences between Musk and Trump in the media. Trump and Musk’s quarrel has become a topic of discussion all over the world at this time. Trump also called Musk a lost mind. Trump said a day earlier that Musk had lost his mind. So now he does not want to talk to him. At the same time, Alan Musk even told Trump that the President’s victory in the elections was because of me. After this, Musk also warned to form a new political party.
