‘Now factories in China, no jobs in India!’, Trump’s message for tech companies
US President Donald Trump.
New York/Washington: US President Donald Trump has once again made a big statement against India and China. Trump has warned American tech companies in a strict tone that now he should say goodbye to the old strategy of setting up factories in China and hiring employees in India. Trump said this at an Artificial Intelligence (AI) summit on Wednesday, where he signed 3 major executive orders related to AI. These orders also include a White House Action Plan, which plans to promote the American AI industry and export the American AI technology globally.
‘Now is the time to give the first status to the tech companies America’
Trump said that for a long time many big tech companies of America went on the path of ‘radical globalism’, which made millions of Americans cheated and useless. He said, ‘Our biggest tech companies took advantage of American independence, but made their factories in China, hired employees in India and hidden profits in Ireland. Also, these companies ignored the people of their own country and pressed their voice. These days are over under my leadership! Now is the time that tech companies should give the first status to America.
‘American tech companies should be completely dedicated to America’
Trump appealed to the Silicon Valley and outside tech companies to adopt the spirit of ‘patriotism and national loyalty’. He insisted, ‘We need American tech companies to be completely dedicated to America. That’s all we want. At the AI Summit, Trump signed 3 executive orders, including a national plan, focused on strengthening the American AI industry and spreading the American AI technology perfectly worldwide. Trump’s move is part of his attempt to put America at the forefront of the AI race. (PTI)
