Sonakshi Sinha shared an anecdote related to the ramp walk during the conversation in Neha Dhupia’s chat show BFFS With Vogue and told how she was called ‘cow’ by a famous celebrity model. Sonakshi said Neha Dhupia talking about her weight and journey- ‘During the ramp walk, a celebrity model made fun of my body. Seeing me when I was ramping, the model called me a cow. He said- what is this, now will the cow walk the ramp? After listening to Sonakshi, Neha Dhupia asked the actress the name of the celebrity model, then Sonakshi did not say anything.
Film not found due to overweight
Sonakshi also shared stories related to her life in an interview to Hotterfly, when she had trouble in work due to her weight. She could not get many films due to overweight. Sonakshi shared an anecdote recalling the early days of her career and told how a comment shook her completely. Sonakshi had said- ‘I did not get the lead role in a film due to being overweight. I was told that you would not look good in this role. Then offered me side rolls. It was said that you are giving you a small role. I felt very bad to hear this.

After weight loss, she made her Bollywood debut with superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ and was covered with the first film. The film was a super-duper hit and Sonakshi’s career also went on.
