Now this heritage of Bihar will be the center of attraction for international tourists: Inauguration of Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-Cum-Cum-Memorial Stupa on July 29
The historic Vaishali district of Bihar is going to become a new cultural and religious symbol. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will make a grand inauguration of Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Smriti Stupa on 29 July. This monument will not only be the center of faith for the world Buddhist community, but will also play an important role in the global propagation of Buddhism.
The opening ceremony is prone to the presence of monks from 15 Buddhist countries including China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Nepal, Tibet, Myanmar, Bhutan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Mongolia, Bangladesh and Indonesia, which will make the event internationally historic.
The stupa is constructed by the Building Construction Department and is located in a grand complex spread over 72 acres. Its total cost is Rs 550.48 crore. The site has been developed near the famous Pushkarni pond and mud stupa of Vaishali, which further increases its historical importance.
On the first floor of the museum, the holy bone urn of Lord Buddha will be reputable, which was received in the excavation between 1958 and 1962. This urn will be the spiritual and emotional center of this memory stupa.
The campus has also developed meditation center, library, visitor centers, museum blocks, amphitheater, cafeteria, 500 kW capacity solar power plant, parking and other state -of -the -art facilities.
In particular, the huge statue of Lord Buddha built by artists from Odisha will be a special identity of this site. This statue is not only a symbol of beauty, but it also contains spiritual energy and cultural pride.
Kumar Ravi, secretary of the Building Construction Department of the Government of Bihar, said that this monument will become a grand symbol of the cultural heritage of the state and the global Buddhist heritage. This will not only strengthen Vaishali on the world Buddhist map, but it will also give a new dimension to local tourism, cultural activities and employment opportunities.
