Banks will be closed for two consecutive days in these two states

Apart from Wednesday, August 27, all banks will also be closed in Odisha and Goa on Thursday, August 28. The second day of Ganesh Chaturthi is also celebrated in Goa. Whereas, there will be a holiday on the occasion of Nuakhai Festival in Odisha. Nuakhai is a major folklore of Odisha. This simply means that there will be a holiday of banks for two consecutive days in Goa and Odisha. After which banks will work on Friday and Saturday like normal days.
