Recalling the journey of my career, Nusrat said, “At the beginning of my career, I remained a joke in films, I always got the role of a clever, controlling or irritable girl.” But today I am taking an award for such a character, who talks about a girl’s life, her right to live and the right to choose for herself.
He said, I am here, on this journey, for every ‘Chori’ who wants to make her mark. Saying this, my hair is standing, because this journey has been a way for me to prove myself. Getting its award today means a lot to me. You all have no idea how special it is for me.
Nusrat thanked the jury, his team, director, producer, co-stars and all the people of the film industry who supported him in this success. During the conversation after the award, when he was asked whom he was the most afraid of, he replied with great truth, ‘By being forgotten. I do not know how I said this on such a big stage. But the same thing is seen in the election of my films.
Nusrat said, I do not want to work in a film that people forget me after watching. We all have to go one day or the other, but I want to leave something that people say that she was innocent, it was the same.
