Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervin won the toss and chose batting, but his decision was heavily. Henry settled Brian Bennett (6) and Ben Curren (13) quickly and then also dismissed Nick Welch for 27 runs and put the team in trouble before lunch. At the same time, Nathan Smith also took 3 wickets, Bahn O’Rurek and Mitchell Santner also remained.
