On Rahul Gandhi’s 55th birthday, youth gift to youth, 161 companies will give jobs

New Delhi: Former Congress president and Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi will celebrate his 55th birthday on June 19. On this occasion, the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) will organize a huge employment fair at the Talkatora Stadium. Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chhib said that by organizing this fair, the Youth Congress is trying to give the youth not only employment, but also hope, respect and a better future.
On spot offer letter will be given
A total of 161 companies from across the country will participate in this employment fair. These companies will give on-spot offer letters to the candidates who have been successful in the interview through walk-in interview. Registration for this employment fair has been kept completely free and so far more than 11,000 candidates have registered themselves. Many well-known companies of the country will also be involved in this event.

Rahul Gandhi’s political career
Rahul Gandhi started his political career in 2004, when he contested and won from his father’s traditional Amethi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. He was then elected MP from Amethi in 2009 and 2014. In 2007, he was appointed Congress General Secretary. In 2013, he became the Vice President of the Congress. In 2017, he took over as the President of the Indian National Congress, but left the post after the party’s defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi lost to Smriti Irani from Amethi seat, but he also contested from Wayanad in Kerala and won from there. After this, in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi won from both Rae Bareli seat in Uttar Pradesh and Wayanad seat in Kerala. He decided to retain the Rae Bareli seat. His sister and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is a MP from Wayanad seat.
