Ajmal Kasab was hanged
The terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir shook the country. In this attack, the terrorists killed 26 innocent people, mostly tourists. Security agencies are constantly engaged in search operations to catch those terrorists and backchers and so far many terrorist hideouts and modules have been busted. But let us tell you that one such horrific terrorist attack took place in Mumbai in 2008, which is called 26/11 terrorist attack. Ajmal Kasab, a terrorist, was caught alive by the security forces, who was sentenced to death on this day i.e. on 6 May 2010. The decision to punish Ajmal Kasab was a big message for Pakistan, as Kasab was a resident of Faridkot village in Punjab province of Pakistan and took terrorist training in Pakistan.
Terrorists entered Mumbai by sea
26 November 2008 was the day when India’s financial capital Mumbai was shaken by the attack by terrorists. 10 terrorists of Pakistan’s terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba entered Mumbai by sea. The attack also included Ajmal Kasab, who on the one hand, along with the terrorist, fired indiscriminately at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST). In addition, major places such as Taj Hotel, Oberoi Trident Hotel, Nariman House and Leopold Cafe were also attacked.

Ajmal Kasab and his partner Abu Ismail killed about 59 innocent people at CST station. His AK-47 rifle and pictures of explosive attacks went viral on social media, making the attack even more frightening. At the same time, other terrorists took hundreds of people hostage at the Taj Hotel and Oberoi Trident Hotel.
9 terrorists killed, Kasab caught
After this attack, Indian security forces conducted an operation for three days, killing 9 terrorists, but Ajmal Kasab was caught alive on 27 November 2008. While apprehending him, Mumbai Police personnel Tukaram Ombale were martyred, who tried to capture Kasab regardless of his life.

Lashkar-e-Taiba gave terrorist training
During interrogation of Kasab, it was revealed that he was a resident of Faridkot, Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba gave him a terrorist training. After the arrest, the special court prosecuted Kasab. During his hearing, several important revelations were made, including the confession of his crimes and then attempts to change the statement later.
86 allegations were made in charge sheet
In 2009, a 11,000 -page charge sheet was filed, with 86 allegations against Kasab murder, waging war against the country and terrorism. He was convicted in May 2010 and on 6 May 2010, the special court sentenced Kasab to death.
Hanged on 21 November 2012
Kasab appealed against the sentence, but in 2011 the Bombay High Court upheld the Special Court verdict. The Supreme Court also stamped his death sentence in 2012, saying that Kasab never repeatedly repeated his mistake and considered himself a Pakistani patriot. Ajmal Kasab filed a mercy petition, but the petition was dismissed before President Pranab Mukherjee. He was finally hanged on 21 November 2012 in Yerwada Jail in Pune. This operation was named ‘Operation X’, which was completely confidential.
