Its texture is sometimes felt like kheer, sometimes rabri, sometimes like cream – but one thing is certain, it is not less than any dessert. So let’s know, how to make this unique and delicious halwa.

Method of making raw papaya pudding

  • First step: Take a whole raw papaya. Peel it well and then grate it. Heat ghee in a pan. When the ghee melts, add grated papaya to it. Fry the papaya on medium flame until it is completely melted and cooks well

  • Second step: On the other hand, add 1 liter of milk to a deep pot. Add a little saffron to it. Cook the milk on low flame continuously until it becomes thick like rabri. When the roasted papaya cooks well and the milk becomes thick like rubri, then put the roasted papaya in the thick milk.

  • Third step: Mix all the ingredients well and cook for a while. Now add dry fruits of your choice (eg cashew, almonds, raisins), light sugar (according to taste) and cardamom powder. Allow the halwa to cook until it starts to leave the pan thickened. When it starts drying, turn off the gas. Leave it for some time so that the taste and aroma are found well in each other.

Just, your delicious raw papaya pudding is ready! Serve it hot or enjoy it by cooling. This pudding remains fresh for several days when kept in the fridge. If you have not tried this unique pudding yet, then make sure this time and taste it with the family!
