1. Premangsu Chatterjee:-
Premangsu Chatterjee of Bengal became the first Indian fast bowler to achieve this feat. Because in the year 1956-57, he performed very well against Assam in the Ranji Trophy. In that match, he took 10 wickets for 20 runs in 19 overs. The Bengal team then scored a score of 505/10 in their first innings. After this, the entire team of Assam was piled up for just 54 runs. But Chatterjee could not take any wicket in the second innings. The Bengal team then won the match by a margin of innings.
2. Pradeep Sundaram:-
After this, the name of former Rajasthan player Pradeep Sundaram was also added to this list. In 1985, he performed brilliantly in the first innings of the Ranji match against Vidarbha in Jodhpur. Sundaram then took 10 wickets for 78 runs in 22 overs. In this match, Vidarbha’s team batting first was able to score 140/10 runs. After this, this fast bowler took 6 wickets in the second innings. Due to this, Rajasthan won the match then.
3. Debashish Mohanty:-
Odisha fast bowler Debashish Mohanty has also done this feat. In 2001, a former right -handed fast bowler took all 10 wickets in the first innings of South Zone in the Dalip Trophy, playing for West Zone. After this, he also took 4 wickets in the second innings of the match. Due to this, in the end, West Zone won that match by 4 wickets.
4. Anshul Kamboj:-
In the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season, Haryana fast bowler Anshul Kamboj took all 10 wickets in the first innings against the Kerala cricket team. Then this right -handed fast bowler took all the wickets for 49 runs in 30.1 overs. But then he could not take any wicket in the second innings of the match. The match was played in Rohtak at that time. In the end, this match ended at the draw.
