New Delhi: The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will begin on June 30 after a gap of five years this year. The Ministry of External Affairs, which oversees the yatra, said that the pilgrimage will continue till August, for which the application window has been opened. A total of 15 batch of 750 people will be held at the pilgrimage site of Kailash Mountains and Mansarovar Lake located in Tibet.
The Ministry of External Affairs said that five batch with 50 pilgrims will travel by crossing the Lipulekh Pass from Uttarakhand, while 10 batch with 50 pilgrims would go from Sikkim to Nathu La Pass. Interested pilgrims can apply online for travel.
