Opposition Vice Presidential Candidate said- The dignity of the election remains

Prior to the Vice Presidential election, India Block candidate B Sudarshan Reddy said on Saturday that he wants the dignity of this election and it should be one of the civilized elections so far. Nobody does a personal attack on anyone.

The opposition candidate said- ‘There is no private fight between Radhakrishnan and me. We have never met each other. Therefore, I want that the competition should not be between individuals but between two different ideologies.

In fact, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Friday that Sudarshan Reddy is the same who gave a judge supporting leftist extremism and Naxalism. If there was no judgment against Salwa Judum, the leftist extremism would have ended by 2020.

Reddy said on Shah’s statement- ‘I do not want to argue with him. I have written the decision of Salwa Judum, this is not mine. This decision is from the Supreme Court. Read the decision of Shah 40 page. If he had read the decision, he might not have made these comments.

Reddy said- Never expected to contest Vice Presidential elections

Former Supreme Court judge Reddy said that he had never expected to contest the Vice President. The Congress proposed to contest him.

He said- ‘Some big leaders of Congress took the initiative. On this I said that it may be difficult for me to be a candidate of a particular political party, but if the parties of India block agree and make me a candidate, then I will contest the election.

Election will be held on 9 September

The Vice Presidential elections will be held on 9 September. For this, the opposition has made B Sudarshan Reddy its candidate. He will contest against NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan.

Reddy filed his nomination on August 21 in the presence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.

NCP (SCP) chief Sharad Pawar, Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav, DMK MP Tiruchi Shiva, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut and many other leaders of the coalition were also present during this period.
