Chenab Bridge, built at a cost of Rs 1,486 crore, is the world’s highest railway bridge and a true act of engineering. 359 meters high from the river, 35 meters high from Eiffel Tower and about five times higher than the height of Qutub Minar, the bridge is constructed from 28,660 megaton steel. It is capable of withstanding both temperature and excessive heat below zero.
