In fact, the ICC has announced the dates of the Women’s Cricket ODI World Cup 2025. The tournament will begin on September 30, where the host India team will take on Sri Lanka at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The round-robin phase of this prestigious tournament will run till 26 October. After this, the semi -finals will be played on 29 and 30 October. The final of the tournament will be held on 2 November.
These teams will take part
Apart from hosts India, the ODI World Cup will participate in 2025 teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka. A total of 8 teams will face each other in the round-robin format, in which each team will play matches against all opponents. After the league stage, the top-4 teams in the points table will arrive in the knockout, where two semi-finals will be played. Then in the final match, the new champion of women’s cricket will be decided.
India-Pakistan will clash on this day
The high-voltage match between India and Pakistan (India-Pakistan) will be played on 5 October in the Group Stage of Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. The match under the Hybrid model, R.K. in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Premdasa will begin at 3 pm (Indian time) at the International Cricket Stadium. So far 11 ODIs have been played between the women’s teams of India and Pakistan and India has won. The last clash took place in the 2022 World Cup in Mount Munganui (New Zealand), in which India had trampled Pakistan by 107 runs.
