‘Our support to the government in every action against terror’ said Kharge on Operation Sindoor

New Delhi: The Congress’s big statement has come out on the action taken by the Indian Army to destroy terrorist bases in Pakistan. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that we are standing with the government in every action against terror. We have full support to the government. We salute the brave soldiers who carry out this action.
At the same time, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, “We discussed the matter in the Working Committee. We have full support to the Indian Army. We wish them all the best for this action. There is full support from the Congress Party and the Congress Working Committee.”
Explain that an emergency meeting was called by the Congress after the attacks by the Indian Army on the terrorist camps in Pakistan. In this meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary KC Venugopal and other senior leaders of the party discussed the current security situation.
Accurate attacks in total 9 places
Explain that the Indian Air Force fighter jets launched accurate attacks on several targets of terrorists in Pakistan without crossing the Pak border and targeted Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba training camps, ‘launch pads’ and headquarters. When India carried out these attacks after midnight, a large number of terrorists were present at nine important sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK). During these attacks under Operation Sindoor, the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke in Punjab province of Pakistan were targeted.

These attacks were carried out by the Indian Army, reversing the Pahalgam attack. Please tell that on 22 April in Pahalgam, 26 tourists were shot dead by terrorists. After this terrorist attack, relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated significantly. India stopped the Indus Water Agreement.
