While talking to the media, Sanjay Raut said, “We are sure that we are going to get majority. Our 160-165 MLAs will get elected. The ‘Khokha vendors’ will put pressure on them, so we have arranged for them to stay together in a hotel. Sharad Pawar, Congress and Uddhav Thackeray will play a role in choosing the CM. MVA will get absolute majority and we will take decisions unanimously. Everyone will sit together and choose the CM.”
Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has also made a big claim regarding the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024. Priyanka Chaturvedi says that “the people of Maharashtra are going to free them (Mahayuti) for the next 25 years. Corruption and Adani are going to end. We will get majority and serve the people for 5 years. They are booking helicopters because they know people will ask them questions and they will have to run away.”
Will there be a fight over CM face in Maharashtra?

However, before that, it is expected that whether the government is formed by Mahayuti or Maha Vikas Aghadi, there may be a tussle regarding the CM face. In fact, in Maha Vikas Aghadi, Shiv Sena (UBT) and Congress are staking claim for the CM face even before the results are announced.
Talking about Mahayuti, internal discussions are going on in this BJP led alliance also regarding CM face. Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) is confident about the return of Eknath Shinde while BJP workers are confident about the coronation of Devendra Fadnavis.
There is also another group NCP (AP) which seems to be strengthening the claim of Ajit Pawar. However, at present all eyes are on the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections. After the results are declared, there will be a round of discussions regarding CM face.
