Thailand Fireworks Factory Explosion: At least nine people have died in the explosion at the cracker factory in Central Thailand on Wednesday. Local authorities have given information about the incident. The explosion occurred in the province of Sugan Burv, about 95 km northwest from Bangkok. The cause of the explosion is not yet known.

The ‘Samarkun Sugan Burvasu Rescue Foundation’ has reported the death of nine people about the explosion in the cracker factory and reported that two people have been taken to the hospital in critical condition. The Public Relations Department of the Provincial Government has said that one person has been injured in the incident. The number of missing people is not yet clear.

Senior Sergeant Major Pinyo Chanmani of the police said that the explosion took place in a building with cracker. It is not clear whether the factory had a license to manufacture cracker. Damaged wooden buildings are visible in the fields in videos and photos obtained from the scene. About 20 people were killed in a similar incident in this area in January 2024. According to officials, at least 10 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the horrific explosion at the cracker warehouse in southern Thailand in July 2023.
