Champions Trophy 2025: PCB gives new formula to BCCI
New Delhi. Champions Trophy 2025 : Pakistan is making every possible effort to defeat India in the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan. The effort is to ensure that no matter what happens, the Indian team should be ready to go to Pakistan to play the tournament. This is why now Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given a new proposal to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). According to a media report, BCCI has said that Team India can return to India after playing every match and the Pakistani board will help them in this.
The report says that PCB has recently written a letter to BCCI. It has been said that if the Indian team does not want to stay in Pakistan due to security reasons and wants to return back to Chandigarh or New Delhi after every match, then the board will help them. A PCB official has confirmed this proposal. The reason for giving this offer is the gap of one week between India’s last 2 matches.

Discussion also took place during Foreign Minister’s visit to Pakistan
According to reports, during the recent visit of Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to Pakistan, Champions Trophy 2025 There was discussion about the Indian team going to Pakistan to play in Pakistan. The issue was raised several times during talks between Jaishankar and Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. After this visit, PCB is hopeful that BCCI will give its consent. However, no official statement has been issued on this yet.

Pakistan gets hosting of Champions Trophy 2025
ICC has given hosting of Champions Trophy 2025 to Pakistan. PCB has submitted the draft of the venue and schedule of the tournament to the ICC. The tournament is to be played in February-March next year. According to the draft, India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand. Group B includes Australia, South Africa, England and Afghanistan. According to the schedule, India’s three matches are to be held on 20 February (from Bangladesh), 23 February (from Pakistan) and 2 March (from New Zealand). All India matches can be played in Lahore.
