Pakistan Army Chief Munir again promised to support Kashmir, calling terrorist activities a “legitimate struggle”
Asim Munir, Pakistan Army Chief
Islamabad: Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir has once again poisoned Kashmir. Munir praised the terrorists killed in Kashmir and described him as a martyr. Not only this, the Pak Army Chief termed the terrorist activities going on in Jammu and Kashmir of India as a “legitimate struggle” and promised him to continue political, moral and diplomatic support from Pakistan.
Pakistan’s strong support for terrorists
In his speech, Munir tried to justify Pakistan’s adamant support for terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir region using double-meaning language. Not only this, he promised to continue political, moral and diplomatic support for the proxy rebellion. Another indication from his statement is that Islamabad will continue to play its role of spreading unrest under the guise of international validity.
Munir’s provocative statement on Kashmir issue
Asim Munir has always been known for spewing poison on India and Kashmir. He has once again made a provocative statement against India on the Kashmir issue. In his recent speech, Munir said, “We are standing with the Kashmiri people to resolve the rights and decades -old disputes. He said that what India calls terrorism is actually a” legitimate struggle “to the United Nations Security Council resolutions and Kashmiri public aspirations. During this time, he also claimed that permanent peace in South Asia is not possible until the “justified and peaceful solution” of the Kashmir issue is found. Munir paid tribute to the terrorists who were killed to spread terrorism in Kashmir.
Pakistan has been misleading the world
Pakistan’s nutritious Pakistan has always been misleading the world. This statement of General Munir has come at a time when Pakistan is struggling with serious economic crisis and especially within the country – in Waziristan, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – there is an increase in euthanasia attacks. Amidst political instability and public dissatisfaction, experts believe that Pakistan is once again trying to divert attention from domestic problems by playing ‘Kashmir Card’. Pakistan often cites the proposals of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), but the reality is that the first condition in the 1948 proposal (Resolution 47) was on Pakistan – that it should remove all his illegal fighters and terrorists from POK. But this condition has not been fulfilled till date. For this reason, the Kashmir issue in the United Nations is now considered inactive.
International community also considers Kashmir as an internal matter of India
The international community also considers Kashmir an internal matter of India. But Pakistan has always worked to spread terrorism across India including Kashmir. Pakistan kept terrorism a part of its strategic policy. India has repeatedly dismissed Pakistan’s allegations. India has always been saying that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inseparable part of it. Pakistan has been extremely upset ever since India removed Article 370 from Kashmir on 5 August 2019. The Government of India says that Pakistan has been promoting terrorism and communal bigotry in Kashmir for a long time.
