Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is often in discussion due to his statements. This time he has given a big statement about Masood Azhar, the leader of terrorist organization Jaish -e -Mohammed.
Bilawal Bhutto said that Pakistan does not know where Jaish-e-Mohammed’s kingpin Masood Azhar’s hideout is. He said that if India, if Masood Azhar is in Pakistan, he will be arrested. Bilawal Bhutto said this in an interview given to Al Jazeera.
Azhar may be in Afghanistan: Bilawal Bhutto
Bilawal Bhutto said that India has not yet given any evidence of Azhar being in Pakistan. If he does so, we will arrest Azhar. Bhutto also said that Azhar could be in Afghanistan. However, Bhutto also said that if NATO could not catch him in Afghanistan, it is not practical from Pakistan to do so.
Masood Azhar’s family was killed recently in India’s action
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India launched Operation Sindoor, under which the hideouts of terrorists were demolished in Pakistan and PoK. In this action of India, 10 families of terrorist Masood Azhar were killed. A message from Masood Azhar was also revealed on the death of the family, in which he was clearly visible for his family members.
Who is terrorist Masood Azhar?
Masood Azhar is a notorious terrorist and the founder and kingpin of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM). His full name is Maulana Masood Azhar Alvi and was born on 10 July 1968 in Bahawalpur, Punjab province, Pakistan. He is one of the 11 siblings and his father was the headmaster of a government school. Masood studied at Jamia Uloom al-Islamia in Karachi and later joined terrorist activities. Masood Azhar has been the mastermind of many major terrorist attacks in India. In 2019, he is also told his hand in the terrorist attack in Pulwama, in which 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred.
