United Nations: India has rejected the “unfair and politically motivated” allegations leveled by Pakistan at the United Nations. India said that Pakistan is trying to divert the attention of the world from atrocities against children and cross -border terrorism, but the world has not forgotten the April 22 terrorist attack, in which Pakistan -backed militants killed innocent tourists.
India expose in UNSC
India’s permanent representative Ambassador to the United Nations, P. Harish, said this in an open debate by the United Nations Security Council on the topic “Effective Strategy to End serious violations against children”. Ambassador Harish said, “Pakistan is not only violating the rights of children, but is also trying to discredit India by misusing the processes of the United Nations.”
He said that Pakistan itself is one of the serious violations of CAAAC (children and armed conflicts) and confirmed in the recent report of the United Nations Secretary -General.
UN report gave reference
According to the report, 99 serious violations have been registered against children in Pakistan, with 86 children (27 boys, 14 girls, 45 unknown gender). Schools were attacked in 13 cases, especially girls’ schools were targeted. Afghan children were killed or injured in cross -border firing and air strikes by Pakistani armed forces in areas bordering Afghan border. Ambassador Harish said, “Despite such behavior, preaching from this global platform is a great hypocrisy.”
Earlier attack and Pakistani shelling mention
India reminded of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, killing 26 tourists in an attack by Pakistani terrorists. He said that on 25 April, the Security Council strongly condemned the incident and said to bring the criminals into the dock of justice. Apart from this, in May 2025, the Pakistani Army also mentioned deliberate shelling on the border, in which many innocent citizens died.
India’s clear position on Jammu and Kashmir
Ambassador Harish reiterated, “Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inseparable part of India, no matter how much Pakistan spreads. He said that” children are particularly sensitive to extremist ideology and recruitment process of terrorist organizations. ” In such a situation, Pakistan is torturing children. Now the time has come for forgetting political differences, holding terrorist criminals and their state sponsors accountable. ” (Language)
