The petitions filed against the Waqf law are to be heard in the Supreme Court on 20 May tomorrow. Before that, Asaduddin Owaisi once again questioned the constitutional validity of the Waqf law. Also, Pakistan took a dig at. Owaisi said in one of his speeches that till now the people of the Sangh Parivar used to abuse me. Now the neighboring country Pakistan made me groom brother.

“It comes to the country …”

Owaisi further said, “I tell him that Waqf is a matter of our house. When a government will raise his voice against our rights and constitution, we will raise their voice, but when it comes to the unity of the country and the country, we are all one. We are not standing for this country, not for this country, we are standing for the country, even today, they were also standing and tomorrow, they were also going to stand. Was. Today he is appealing to you that this law is not correct. “

Expect justice from Supreme Court

Asaduddin Owaisi, terming the new Waqf Act as unconstitutional, has alleged that its aim is to destroy Waqf properties. He hoped to get justice from the Supreme Court in this case. Owaisi also questioned in an interview that when there are many different laws for different issues, the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) can be ‘equal’.

Owaisi challenged the appreciation of the BJP and the Waqf (Amendment) Act to explain which streams are good in the new law. Owaisi questioned, “Tell me how this is a progressive law? Tell me a provision that will save Waqf’s property. Explain a provision to me, which will increase the income of Waqf and a provision that will remove the encroachers.” The AIMIM chief said, “You (from the previous law) removed the good provisions. Tell me that (in the new law), which sections are good, neither the government nor the people sitting in their support will be able to tell them.”
