The Turki not only made statements openly in support of Pakistan but also gave drones and other military equipment to Pakistan in the struggle against India. Opposition to this act of Turkas has been seen all over the country. Now India has also prepared to surround the Turki and it is going to start Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cyprus Yatra.
Turk’s tension with Cyprus
Prime Minister Modi will attend the G7 Summit to be held in Canada from 15 to 17 June. Prior to Canada, PM Modi will go to Cyprus and return to India via Croatia. The thing to understand is that the hostility of the Turk with Cyprus is old. Now in such a situation, when PM Modi is in Cyprus, then the tension of Turkish President Erdogan will definitely increase. PM Modi will be the third Prime Minister of India who will visit Cyprus. Earlier in 2002, the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited here. In 1983, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi also visited Cyprus.
What is a fight between Turkas and Cyprus?
The Turki and Cyprus dispute is decades old. Cyprus is a Mediterranean island that falls south of Turki, west of Syria and northwest of Israel. Cyprus lives in Turki and Greek community, which has a racial dispute. The dispute between the Turki and Cyprus began when the Turki attacked the northern part of Cyprus after the Greek fighters coup in 1974. After this incident, Cyprus was divided into two parts, one of which has a Greek Cyprus government and the other has the control of Turk Cyprus residents. However, the Cyprus Republic of Greek Cyprus is recognized internationally. At the same time, the Ottoman Cyprus residents have given their territory a self -proclaimed nation status, which only accepts the Turkas.
