It is being said that during Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Saudi Arabia, the two countries have reiterated the commitment to further strengthen the strategic partnership.

According to the newspaper The Express Tribune, Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman confirmed the deepening of multidisciplinary bilateral relations. An official statement said that the decision is based on the leadership and public’s “shared aspirations and approaches”. Sharif was accompanied by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Home Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi and a high -level delegation.

It is being said that the two leaders also discussed the human crisis in Gaza during this period and appreciated the role of Saudi Arabia for regional and global stability. Sharif also appreciated Saudi Arabia’s “active and balanced role” during recent Indo-Pak tension. Sharif expressed satisfaction over the growing political, economic and security cooperation between Pakistan-Saudi Arabia and described the relationship as “deep, strategic and filled with brotherhood”.
