Local vendors there are hesitant to supply even packaged drinks to water, even the High Commission officials and employees have refused to give newspapers. While this action of Pakistan is a severe violation of the Vienna Convention, which guarantees the smooth operation of the embassies and the safety and respect of their personnel.
Pakistani officials threatened to sell cylinders
The needle Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) supply gas at the Indian High Commission campus in Islamabad. However, its supply has been intentionally stopped. Those selling local LPG cylinders have also been threatened by Pakistani officials not to sell it to Indian High Commission employees. Due to this, diplomats and their families have to buy them from the open market, which are quite expensive.
