Peshawar: The army has once again been targeted and attacked in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Four soldiers, including an army officer, were killed in the latest attack. Sources have given information about this attack on Thursday. The incident occurred late Wednesday night in the Shawal area of North Waziristan district which is near the border of Afghanistan.

According to sources, the attackers opened fire at the investigation outpost of the security forces. Four soldiers, including a lieutenant rank officer, were killed in this attack. Pakistan Army media wing ‘Inter Services Public Relations’ (ISPR) has not yet commented on the matter.

According to sources, four militants have also been killed in an intelligence action in Musakhel district of the province. These terrorists were killed during an attempt to install ‘Improvised Explosive Explosive device’ (IED) on a highway in Rara Sham area. The slain terrorist passenger was involved in attacks on buses and other terrorist activities.

This is not the first case of attack on security forces in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Earlier, many policemen were killed or injured in unknown assailants attacks.
